The panel included Mass General physicians Christine Seel Ritchie, MD, MSPH, director of research in the Division of Palliative Care and Geriatric Medicine and director of the Mongan Institute Center for Aging and Serious Illness, Sharon Levine, MD, geriatric medicine specialist, and Jehan Alladina, MD, physician in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care. The session was moderated by Katrina Armstong, MD, physician-in-chief in the Department of Medicine at Mass General. Other speakers included Susan L. Mitchell, MD, MPH, and Sharon K. Inouye, MD, MPH, of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Shalender Basin, MB, BS, Laura Nelson Frain, MD, MPH, and Shoshana Streiter, MD, of Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
