Vicki Jackson, MD, chief of Palliative Care at Massachusetts General Hospital, along with other members of the Greater Boston medical community, presented on the growing role of palliative care in the response to the pandemic.

The session was moderated by Katrina Armstong, MD, physician-in-chief in the Department of Medicine at Mass General. Speakers included Emily Rubin, MD, of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, and Juliet Jacobsen, MD, of the Palliative Care Service at Mass General; Mary Buss, MD, PhD, and the Rev. Kathleen Rimer from BIDMC; and Isaac Chua, MD, from Dana-Farber and Brigham & Women's Hospital.
