Leaders from the Corrigan Minehan Heart Center at Massachusetts General Hospital are offering an interactive virtual Short Term Mechanical Support Heart and Lung Symposium on March 13, 2023. The course is designed to educate participants on approaches to the multidisciplinary care of patients with acute heart and lung failure.

Participants will engage in didactic lectures and view video demonstrations that reflect the complexity of care for patients with heart and lung failure. The course illustrates different aspects of heart and lung support, such as ECMO, cardiogenic shock, acute heart and lung failure, treating patients on short term support, and more. Its diverse panel of speakers not only includes cardiologists, pulmonologists, and cardiothoracic surgeons, but also respiratory therapists, nurses, and palliative care physicians.
