In a virtual Medical Grand Rounds co-hosted by Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center on November 5, 2020, Bruce Walker, MD, director of the Ragon Institute of Mass General, MIT and Harvard and Galit Alter, PhDprincipal investigator at the Ragon Institute, spoke with the local Boston medical community about the quest for a COVID-19 vaccine.

The session was moderated by Katrina Armstong, MD, physician-in-chief in the Department of Medicine at Mass General. Other speakers included Dan Barouch, MD, PhD, from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Ragon Institute, Andrea Carfi, PhD, from Moderna, and Jonathan Abraham, MD, PhD, Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
