On May 21, 2020, the Department of Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital held its eleventh Virtual Grand Rounds presentation related to COVID-19. The presentation focused on connections between kidney disease and COVID-19 by reviewing case studies and new data.

The panel included nephrologists Eugene Rhee, MD, Meghan Sise, MD, and Win Williams, MD, of the Mass General Nephrology Division. The session was moderated by Katrina Armstong, MD, physician-in-chief in the Department of Medicine at Mass General. Other speakers included Peter Czarnecki, MD, David Leaf, MD, MMSc, and Danielle Saly, MD, of Brigham and Women’s Hospital; and David Friedman, MD, Samir Parikh, MD, and Martin Pollak, MD, of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
