Biography
Thomas J. An, MD, is an interventional radiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital. His clinical interests include portal venous interventions, transplant interventions, and management of complicated pancreatitis. He attended Princeton University for his undergraduate studies and Vanderbilt University for medical school. He completed an integrated interventional and diagnostic radiology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School before joining the Interventional Radiology faculty at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. An has published multiple research papers and book chapters, with a focus on the safety and effectiveness of interventional radiology procedures to treat cancer, portal hypertension, and vascular pathologies.
