Jussi Alho, PhD, Tal Kenet, PhD, and colleagues demonstrated abnormalities in cerebro–cerebellar functional connectivity during auditory speech processing in children with autism spectrum disorder, and the directionality of the abnormal connectivity suggests the dysfunction might have a cerebellar origin.
