Gee, MD, PhD, Camilo Jaimes, MD, and colleagues found in an international survey that use of non-sedation practices is nearly universal (49/50 institutions, 98%) but the techniques employed varied widely and had different success rates, suggesting room to improve adoption and a need for standardization.
