Registry Reveals Distinct Features of White vs. Latinx Hospitalized COVID-19 Patients
A Latinx cohort hospitalized for COVID-19 became as ill, in general, as a white/non-Latinx cohort despite being younger and having fewer comorbidities, according to a registry study by Ingrid Bassett, MD, MPH, of the Infectious Diseases Division, Andrea S. Foulkes, ScD, of the Biostatistics Center, and colleagues.
