Some Physicians Knowingly Order Guideline-Discordant Lung Cancer Screening
Massachusetts General Hospital researchers found that for a small fraction of patients, lung cancer screening examinations were ordered knowingly outside of U.S. guidelines, including for never smokers, motivated in part by cancer risk perceptions.
