Biography

David McFadden earned his MD and PhD degrees at UT Southwestern. He then completed post-graduate medical training at Harvard Medical School with an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Endocrinology Fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Following fellowship, he stayed at Mass General and Havard Medical School as junior faculty and was a member of the Center for Endocrine Tumors and a staff physician in the Thyroid Associates and Endocrine Tumor Genetics clinics. After completing postdoctoral work at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he returned to UT Southwestern as an assistant professor in the Division of Endocrinology in 2015. As a physician, David’s clinical interest is the treatment of tumors arising from endocrine glands, including thyroid cancer.
