Biography

Sara oversees Mass General’s Digital Health strategy and transactions including research collaborations, philanthropic initiatives, ventures and licensing. Sara’s primary focus is to facilitate strategic alliances with external entities at the forefront of user-centric innovation, and who recognize the value of end-to-end solutions developed in partnership with the resources of an academic medical center and fully integrated health system.
Prior to this role Sara served as a Senior Managing Director of Development for multiple departments across Mass General. During her eight-year tenure, annual philanthropic and sponsored research support increased ten-fold. Prior to Mass General, Sara served as a Director of Development for Boston Children’s Hospital where in partnership with the Board of Trustees and Hospital leadership, Sara spearheaded the initiative to establish a hospital presence in strategic national and international markets. Sara began her career at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center working in research operations, public affairs and corporate relations.
Sara is a member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network Foundation board. She was named as one of the Boston Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 in a year that will never be published so as to preserve her youth.
Sara earned a BA in Communications and Science from Fordham University in New York, NY.
