Biography
Dr. Kamdar is the Associate Director of the Division of Palliative Care, and the Director of the Mass General Cancer Pain Clinic. He graduated from Emory University School of Medicine, and completed his residency in internal medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital. After residency, he completed the Harvard Palliative Medicine fellowship, followed by a second fellowship in Interventional Pain at the Mass General Department of Anesthesia's Center for Pain Medicine. Dr. Kamdar holds dual clinical appointments in both Palliative Care and Anesthesia Pain Medicine, and is on faculty at Harvard Medical School. His clinical and research interests center on the development of novel modalities to manage refractory cancer pain and on the early integration palliative care in advanced illness.
