AHA Scientific Sessions 2023

The AHA scientific sessions 2023 will be held from November 11—13, 2023, where thousands of delegates will meet virtually and in-person in Philadelphia, PA. Clinicians, scientists and AHA members, including Massachusetts General Hospital experts, will gather together and be part of this year's scientific and global education sessions.

It's been 100 years since the American Heart Association (AHA) began supporting and focusing on the advancement of cardiovascular science. The AHA was founded in the year 1924 by six cardiologists, and today it has more than a thousand members who have dedicated their knowledge to better heart health. AHA 2023 marks the 76th anniversary of AHA and takes place both virtually and in-person at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA.

These sessions are aimed at improving cardiovascular health and science. Some of the topics covered throughout the event include:

  • Championing scientific discovery and clinical practice
  • Heart failure guidelines
  • Strategies to promote equitable healthcare
  • Profiles in cardiovascular diseases
  • Imaging of structural heart interventions
