In a virtual Medical Grand Rounds co-hosted by Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center on Sept. 10, 2020, Anthony S. Fauci, MD, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), spoke to the Boston medical community about COVID-19 public health and scientific challenges.

The session was moderated by Katrina Armstong, MD, physician-in-chief in the Department of Medicine at Mass General. Panelists included Rochelle Walensky, MD, MPH, chief, Division of Infectious Diseases at Mass General, Sharon B. Wright, MD, MPH, senior medical director, Infection Control/Hospital Epidemiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Michael Klompas, MD, MPH, hospital epidemiologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
