On May 7, 2020, the Department of Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital held its ninth virtual Grand Rounds presentation related to COVID-19. The presentation featured a panel of experts from the Boston medical community, included Mass General Hematologists Pavan Bendapudi, MD, and Hanny Al-Samkari, MD, who are investigating blood clotting in COVID-19 patients. 

The session was moderated by Katrina Armstong, MD, physician-in-chief in the Department of Medicine at Mass General. Other speakers included Jason Freed, MD, Jeffrey Zwicker, MD, and Robert Flaumenhaft, MD, PhD, of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center; and Jean Marie Connors, MD, of Brigham and Women's Hospital.
